Day 2: I was so ready for pictures, but time and photographers didn’t line up. Today’s outfit was Wine my corduroy Pauline Alice Rosari Skirt and Lacey a simple top made using Seamwork’s Akita pattern and some lovely fabric with lace and pintucks sewn in a diagonal grid across it that I picked up at Joann Fabrics.
The Kids were in RTW.
Day 3: My most recent variation of the Cashmerette Turner Dress. It is extended to maxi length and has flounce cuffs added to the 3/4 length sleeves. The fabric is a double brushed jersey knit from Farbicmart.com.
And after lunch I wore my maroon turner in art gallery knit. Also maxi length, but with standard 3/4 length sleeves and later added my loom knit socks to the outfit.
A is rocking the Brownie Goose Hattie I made her last summer after she picked out the floral jacquard poly while we were on vacation last year. It seems I never blogged any of the 4 of 5 dresses I made for her last summer.
Day 4: I had to rock a RTW dress today because if it’s Space Day and if you have a space dress…
O was wearing his Dinos Rowan Shirt. If you missed it this fabric is from the new Doodles line at JoAnn Fabrics. This has stretched out a bit at the neckline as recovery is poor for this 100% cotton interlock and O has a tendency to stretch it up over his chin.
Day 5: Sweater Turner Dress for me.
Day 6: Azteca (Collette Myrtle in cotton/lycra Jersey) and Mouse House Creations Julia Cardi in black poly sweater knit. (photo:Top)
O wore his castles and dragons Rowan Shirt (same deets as the Dinos)
Day 7: You Again my upteenth Cashmerette Appleton wrap dress. This time it is in a sturdy ITY with an interestingly texture print from Fabricmart.
Everyday was a kwik-sew 3881 day.
Sorry for the delay in posting this. It was mostly ready on time, but sick cars and sick kids…
