Weekend at the Woolery

Apron with handspun mill ends

Spent last weekend at Angel’s Wilderness Woolery and have been having the odd experience of my handspun sliding right off my spindle when it gets somewhat full.  Feels like I am skipping a step by not having to wind it off.  Does anyone know if this is going to have a negative effect?  The yarn here is more of the 5# of mill ends that I’ve been spinning up.   The mix of fibers is mostly brown (probably wool) with lots of other color accents and some sparkle.   It looks very different up close, but since you’re likely to be seeing more of it I’ll save that for another day.
