Spaghetti Straps are not my thing, but I’ve got a nicely fitted woven version of the Savannah Camisole Pattern by Seamwork and it was the only pattern I have that would fit with the tiny bolt end of rose printed swiss dot I found at Jo Ann’s. This fabric deserves to be shown not hidden under something else. The Savannah needed thicker straps, maybe even sleeves, but they would have to be eeked out of this same cut.
The white you see at the edge of the sleeves is some crocheted lace that I used as an overlay on the wider straps.
The sleeves didn’t turn out as planned, but this was a quick project so that I would have something to wear for the weekend and something to wear for the first date night in months (A real date night without either child). So these sleeves went out and earned the name Concert Rose.
There is nothing cuter than a 1 year old with baby thunder thighs rockin’ out to All About that Bass. Unfortunately, for our 1 year old the concert didn’t start until after her bedtime.
